Angela

Director

Angela first qualified as a Pharmacist back in 1992.  Angela feels she was fortunate enough to have some amazing mentors in her early years as a young Pharmacist, and in 2002 she became a Director of Kensington Pharmacy.

Angela is passionate about improving health outcomes and increasing access to services for all Northlanders.  In 2020 Angela worked on a project to implement MUR (Medicine Use Reviews) in Northland.  The project helps people who are taking a multiple of complex medicines in their understanding of the medicines they are taking and ensuring they are taking the right medicines at the right time. 

Angela wants to support the professional development of all her staff by providing a wide range of clinical services as well as vaccinations, throat swabbing for the prevention of Rheumatic Fever, PACT training for Technicians, and leadership development for both Dispensary and Retail staff.

When away from the pharmacy Angela likes getting outside hiking, skiing, or biking with friends or family and spending time in her lovely garden.  Angela has two wonderful children and is married to Shane who is also a Director and Pharmacist of Kensington Pharmacy.
