Initially: 15-45 ml as a single dose
Maintenance: up to 45ml in divided doses Portal Systemic Encephalopathy, Hepatic coma & pre coma: Initially: 30-50 ml 3x daily Subsequently adjusting dose to produce two or three loose stools per day.
