Not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age.
If pregnant, likely to become pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a pharmacist or doctor before use.
Contains 26 mg of potassium and 187 mg of sodium in sachet.
Prolonged use of laxatives is undesireable and may lead to dependence.
If symptoms persist, seek medical advice.
Directions:
Adults and children over 12 years of age:
Constipation: 1 sachet a day. This may be increased up to 3 sachets daily if necessary.
Faecal impaction as diagnosed by a doctor: 8 sachets a day.
Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 125 mL of water and drink it. Do not exceed the stated dose.
You may dissolve the contents of 8 sachets in 1 litre of water and drink within 6 hours. Store the solution well covered in the fridge (2 C to 8 C). Do not freeze. Discard any unused solution after 6 hours.
Drink plenty of water.
Increase fibre in diet except in cases of medication-induced constipation.
