This means you can now pop in store for quick advice, assessment, and treatment for everyday conditions—often without needing a GP visit.
Our pharmacists can now provide funded (subject to eligibility criteria) consultations and or treatments for selected conditions.
These services are designed to make care faster, easier, and closer to home for you and your whānau.

Pain and fevers are common in children, whether it be a common cold, infection, teething or other common illnesses our pharmacist may now be able to provide pain relief (Paracetamol or Ibuprofen) funded though a quick consultation.
Head lice are common in school-aged children and can spread easily between family members. Our Pharmacists can recommend effective treatments and provide advice on the removal of lice and eggs, as well as how to prevent reinfestation within the household.
Treatment can be provided funded for under 14-year-olds and or a family member with same condition.
Scabies is a contagious skin condition caused by tiny mites, causing an intense itch and a rash. It can spread through close contact. Our Pharmacists can assess your symptoms, provide treatment, and recommend you on how to manage the condition within your household to prevent reinfection.

Bacterial conjunctivitis is contagious and common in young children. Conjunctivitis can cause redness, irritation, discharge, and discomfort. Though a consultation, the pharmacist can prescribe either eyedrops or ointment to treat the bacterial infection.
Urinary tract infections (UTIs) can cause symptoms such as pain when urinating, urgency, and lower abdominal discomfort. Our Pharmacists can assess symptoms and, if appropriate, provide treatment and advice to help manage the infection quickly, as well as guidance on when to seek further medical care.

Emergency contraception can help prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure. It is most effective when taken as soon as possible. Our Pharmacists can provide confidential advice and access to treatment in a private setting, helping you make informed decisions about your care. Funded for under 25-year-olds.
